Saturday night we took Parker (and Johnny!) to his first baseball game. I must confess that I really don't care about baseball but we received free tickets from Tuan's work so we went and had a fun evening of overpaying for lemonade, hanging out with Tuan's co workers and munching on friars franks. The highlight of the night was probably the fact that we sat right behind the little league champs from Chula Vista. Seriously, there were people waiting around for their autographs. I know this because I was standing at the top of our section BF and they were waiting next to me for the kids to come up so they could get autographs. The next time we go to a game, I think we will just get Park at the Park ticket so Parker could run around and play. He wasn't a big fan of sitting in his seat. The park area is 1. right by the little baseball field where kids can play games 2. close to the food vendors (very important) 3. close to the sand pit and 4. only about $10 a ticket! It doesn't get more affordable than that. It also provides a pretty good view of the field for those who are interested in actually watching the game.

[P's baseball outfit. American apparel baseball tee, khaki shorts, see kai run sandals and his gap fedora.]
[Love this hilarious photo of Parker]
[Play ball! I was told that the Padres won against the Rockies. We had to leave early because the game went past P's bedtime.]
[Everyone clapped when the little league kids took their seats in the section in front of us]

[Yum Phil's BBQ! I was surprised at the variety of food now available at Petco Park. Phil's and Chocolat, a winning combo.]
