Joy+Love 2016 Holiday Collection

Parker made his official modeling debut a few weeks ago for Joy+Love's 2016 Holiday Collection. I couldn't be more proud of my little man for doing so well in front of the camera and really working all the holiday looks with the other mini models. All of the holiday looks were stylish yet functional so the kids had no problem twirling, jumping and running around during the photo shoot. I love that there are so many separates that you can mix and match but I'm most excited about the fact that they now carry clothes and accessories for boys! Tiny Whales SS15 Tee Collection

The "winter storm," aka 3 days of rain, that just passed through has me daydreaming about summer. I can't wait for the longer days and our trip to Cabo. Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that I stumbled across photos of Tiny Whales SS15 collection on Instagram. It makes you want to put your shortest shorts on and head to the beach, no? I want it all. These shirts would pair perfectly with the Sam Shorts from Cotton On Kids.

Closet Envy: I'm All That and Dim Sum Tee

You know me. I love a good tee. I spotted this tee on Food52 during the holidays and put it on Parker's Christmas list. Since no one bought it, I decided to get it for him myself because the foodie humor is too much for me to resist. He wore it to the Valentine's Day dinner party we attended over the weekend and looked super festive.

A Review of KidTeeZ + a Giveaway

As much as I love dressing Parker up in button downs, a cool tee is my go to item when I know we are going to be out playing. The "Eat, Football, Sleep" tee from KidTeez is my new fave in Parker's current rotation. Seriously, how cool does he look? I love the typographic art.

Let's take a moment and talk about how excited I am that he finally fits 2T clothes. The possibilities are endless now that he is out of onesies (though KidTeeZ carries those as well)! I want to note that KidTeeZ is currently switching the type of t shirts they print on. Parker is wearing a 2T shirt in their old tee and it fits perfectly. I also have some 2T shirts in their new tee and they are HUGE. Like down to his knees huge. The discrepancy in size is crazy but they are working on transitioning all their tee designs to the new tees. I have to say that the new tees have a nice slub to them and are softer. It's like humor and comfort had a love child.

Mini Me Look for [Imaginary] Apple Picking in Julian

This is how I would dress Parker if we were apple picking this year. Unfortunately, that won't be happening since all the orchards are closed for the season due to the terrible drought that is wrecking havoc on California's agricultural industry. It's so sad that Julian's orchards are closed during their peak tourist season. We had so much fun last year (see photos here) and I have no doubt Parker would have really enjoyed going again this year. See you next season, Julian!

Yes, I know it would be irresponsible to buy an expensive coat for a baby (especially when we live in SoCal). Stylish Clothes for Chic Little Girls Featuring Hucklebones

We are normally all about boys at the Parker Project but sometimes the cuteness of frills and bows is just to too strong to resist. Hucklebones is how I would want to dress my daughter. The attention to detail, lack of hot pink and classic shapes is fantastic and a welcome departure to most of the girls clothing that has saturated the market.
