Melissa and Doug Pounding Bench

I've been eyeing this Melissa and Doug Pounding Bench for a while and finally snatched it up over the weekend at ROSS for $11. I'm a big fan of Melissa and Doug toys and I knew Parker would love this one because 1. It's very colorful 2. He gets to push/hit things. I have no doubt that this toy can taking a, literal, beating and will last us a while. Parker is still working on his hammering skills and finds it easier to just push the pegs with his hands. Flora and the Flamingo

I just ordered the most darling book for my (fairy)god daughter, Paige! I spotted the book at Extraordinary Desserts on Saturday and knew I had to buy it because there is only one little girl I know who is 1. into flamingos (that's what she's going to be for Halloween!) and 2. into flowered swim caps.

The book is beautifully illustrated and I just know she is going to have fun opening up the flaps! The book has no words so it encourages little ones to make up their own stories. Love!

My Lucky Little Dragon - Joyce Wan

I just pre-ordered Joyce Wan's "My Lucky Little Dragon" for Parks. I love her illustrations and Parks is a golden dragon baby so it's a perfect fit. I can't wait to get it in January!
